Job Requirements

  • hs diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must have a valid driver's license and port authority or airport authority permit if applicable
  • must be at least 18 years old if driving cargo handling equipment
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
  • ability to drive cargo handling equipment
  • ability to step up to an above ground level
  • ability to lift up to 70 lbs
  • comply with WFS site security procedures
  • remain alert to security breaches or suspicious activities

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle shipment and cargo handling equipment
  • good communication skills
  • minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
  • ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • ability to concentrate on details
  • proficiency in PC skills and applications

Job Duties

  • perform computer data entry
  • prepare all flight documents
  • interface with U.S. Customs
  • prepare import and export documentation
  • accept and distribute cargo according to regulations
  • compile customer lists for sales leads
  • solicit orders and complete sales transactions
  • quote prices and prepare sales contracts
  • estimate delivery dates
  • move cargo up to 70lbs
  • comply with site security procedures
  • monitor security activities and report breaches
