Job Requirements
- hs diploma, GED or equivalent
- must have a valid driver's license and port authority or airport authority permit if applicable
- must be at least 18 years old if driving cargo handling equipment
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- ability to drive cargo handling equipment
- ability to step up to an above ground level
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- comply with WFS site security procedures
- remain alert to security breaches or suspicious activities
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver's license
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to handle shipment and cargo handling equipment
- good communication skills
- minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
- ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- ability to concentrate on details
- proficiency in PC skills and applications
Job Duties
- perform computer data entry
- prepare all flight documents
- interface with U.S. Customs
- prepare import and export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo according to regulations
- compile customer lists for sales leads
- solicit orders and complete sales transactions
- quote prices and prepare sales contracts
- estimate delivery dates
- move cargo up to 70lbs
- comply with site security procedures
- monitor security activities and report breaches
