Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and applicable Port Authority or Airport Authority permit
  • Must be at least 18 years old if driving cargo handling equipment is required
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stepping up to above-ground levels
  • Compliance with all security and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills including ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
  • Attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods
  • Proficiency in PC use and learning new software
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cargo handling regulations and procedures is an asset

Job Duties

  • Perform computer data entry for cargo operations
  • Prepare all flight-related documents and paperwork
  • Interface with U.S. Customs for cargo clearance
  • Prepare import and export documentation in accordance with regulations
  • Accept and distribute cargo meeting weight and safety standards
  • Comply with WFS site security procedures and report any breaches
  • Solicitate orders, quote prices, and prepare sales contracts
  • Estimate delivery dates for customers based on company schedules
  • Operate cargo handling equipment and manage physical cargo movement
