Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and applicable Port Authority or Airport Authority permit
- Must be at least 18 years old if driving cargo handling equipment is required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 70 pounds
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stepping up to above-ground levels
- Compliance with all security and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Effective communication skills including ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
- Attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods
- Proficiency in PC use and learning new software
- Customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of cargo handling regulations and procedures is an asset
Job Duties
- Perform computer data entry for cargo operations
- Prepare all flight-related documents and paperwork
- Interface with U.S. Customs for cargo clearance
- Prepare import and export documentation in accordance with regulations
- Accept and distribute cargo meeting weight and safety standards
- Comply with WFS site security procedures and report any breaches
- Solicitate orders, quote prices, and prepare sales contracts
- Estimate delivery dates for customers based on company schedules
- Operate cargo handling equipment and manage physical cargo movement
