Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Previous experience in linen handling or hospital housekeeping is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Job Duties
- Responsible for the daily inventory inspection and distribution of clean linen on all Med-Surg units under the supervision of the linen manager
- Collect and remove all soiled linen from the units daily in a timely manner and drop off in the designated area
- Inspect linens for cleanliness and quality
- Ensure linen supplies are adequately stocked and stocked areas are maintained
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
- Adhere to RWJBH policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry and linen storage areas
