Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a developer, QA engineer, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft development stack including Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio 2022 or later, and Azure
  • Experience using AI coding assistants and testing/QA tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
  • Demonstrated ability to implement AI technologies within the software development lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with technical teams and leadership
  • Proven ability to influence teams without direct authority
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Willingness to work East Coast hours if remote
  • Experience in financial services or real estate industry preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing AI technologies in existing products, services or SDLC and codebases
  • Excellent ability to communicate with technical audiences
  • Proven ability to influence teams without formal authority, and to convince skeptical audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders, customers, dev teams, and executive management
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven
  • Financial services or real estate industry experience highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Be an expert in how software is developed, tested and delivered
  • Have a deep knowledge of modern software development practices, including tools, frameworks, continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) workflows
  • Have direct, hands on experience in developing or testing software, or in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capacity
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to stakeholders in helping choose the appropriate tools, metrics and implementation approaches
  • Implement the currently available AI tools in the appropriate places in our Software Development Lifecycle
  • Provide Proofs-of-Concept or Starter projects for teams so that they can utilize these tools quickly and efficiently
  • Design and conduct pilot programs for implementation of new tools and technologies
  • Measure the adoption of these tools
  • Clearly demonstrate the benefits and drawbacks of these tools by choosing the appropriate metrics and measuring them
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge by experimenting with new use cases, tools, processes and broader industry trends
  • Evangelize the benefits and drawbacks of AI tooling and processes to the user community via internal communication channels
  • Communicate how to utilize these tools responsibly and without compromising code and application security
  • Using the adoption and usage metrics, identify areas of improvement and implement any practice changes necessary to improve outcomes
  • Host Lunch-and-Learns to provide opportunities for the community members to share their experiences with the broader community
  • Conduct surveys to understand the user community’s perceptions of the use of AI tools, and their satisfaction with their implementation and changes to their quality of work
  • Document best practices and share with the members of the community
