Job Duties

  • First point of contact for visitors and callers
  • warmly welcomes on-site visitors, greets them by name and makes them feel important and valued
  • determines natures of visitors and promptly announces visitor to appropriate staff
  • monitors visitor access
  • answers incoming telephone calls
  • determines purpose of caller and forwards call to appropriate personnel or department
  • answers a variety of questions about the facility and provides address, directions, and other information
  • collects and files documents, correspondence, and other printed material
  • receives, sorts, and routes mail
  • maintain fax machines, copiers, etc. and assist users
  • take payment for services
  • assists the business office specialist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and resident account functions
