Job Duties
- First point of contact for visitors and callers
- Warmly welcomes on-site visitors, greets them by name and makes them feel important and valued
- Determines natures of visitors and promptly announces visitor to appropriate staff
- Monitors visitor access
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of caller and forwards call to appropriate personnel or department
- Answers a variety of questions about the facility and provides address, directions, and other information
- Collects and files documents, correspondence, and other printed material
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail
- Maintains fax machines, copiers, etc. and assists users
- Takes payment for services
- Assists the business office specialist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and resident account functions
