Job Requirements
- United States citizen with proof of citizenship and current U.S. passport
- Must be able to support periodic travel
- Familiar with operation of military flight training base
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver���s license and ability to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Kuwait Driver’s License
- Ability to walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, bend, crawl
- Ability to detect odors, sounds, and distinguish colors
- Meet requirements for Work Permit and Residency Visa in Kuwait
- Must have and maintain current FAA second-class Medical Certificate or Army Class 2 Flight Duty Medical Exam
- Willingness to comply with OSHA and V2X safety policies
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Associate or bachelor degree desired
- Graduate of U.S. Army AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot and Methods of Instruction course
- 5+ years as an aviator with recent AH-64D/E flight experience
- AH-64Ev6 qualification preferred
- Minimum 1000 hours as pilot in AH-64D/E
- Minimum 250 hours as instructor pilot in AH-64D/E
- Computer literate including word processing, database input, accessing electronic publications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overtime as required
Job Duties
- Provide instructor pilot support services and oversight for all Kuwait Air Force TADSS
- Deliver advanced AH-64D/E flight instruction to student pilots according to Army Aircrew Training Manual
- Prepare simulator flight hour utilization and scheduling reports
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight briefings and evaluations
- Conduct end of stage check rides and provide performance evaluations
- Develop training tutorials, courseware curriculum, and Programs of Instruction for military and civilian subjects
- Coordinate on-site maintenance and ensure operational readiness of simulators and training devices
