Job Requirements
- Must be willing to work at least 4 days a week
- No experience necessary, will train
- Must pass a 10 year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
- Able to attend required training
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be physically capable of lifting a 70 pound suitcase and performing repetitive physical tasks
- Must be well groomed and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit and well groomed
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to attend and successfully complete required training
Job Duties
- Processing customers tickets, checking baggage, monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assigning seats
- Providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
- Handling denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, accommodating customers and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate
- Ensuring FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed
- Enforcing safety/security measures and protecting sensitive zones
- Assisting customers with special needs, including boarding assistance
- Bringing wheelchair passengers from ticket counter to gates and gates to baggage service
- Performing aircraft cleaning and ramp duties
- Carrying out other assigned duties
- Attending required training sessions
