Job Requirements

  • Must be willing to work at least 4 days a week
  • No experience necessary, will train
  • Must pass a 10 year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
  • Able to attend required training
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be physically capable of lifting a 70 pound suitcase and performing repetitive physical tasks
  • Must be well groomed and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physically fit and well groomed
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to attend and successfully complete required training

Job Duties

  • Processing customers tickets, checking baggage, monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assigning seats
  • Providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
  • Handling denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, accommodating customers and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate
  • Ensuring FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed
  • Enforcing safety/security measures and protecting sensitive zones
  • Assisting customers with special needs, including boarding assistance
  • Bringing wheelchair passengers from ticket counter to gates and gates to baggage service
  • Performing aircraft cleaning and ramp duties
  • Carrying out other assigned duties
  • Attending required training sessions
