Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
  • Must pass a ten year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts
  • Ability to attend required training
  • Physical ability to carry 70 pounds from floor to waist level and for distances up to 25 feet
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting
  • Must have sufficient vision to perform essential job functions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate in extreme outdoor conditions
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift up to 70 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide total customer service to all passengers using customer or charter service
  • Process customers tickets, check baggage, monitor carry-on baggage size and quantity, assign seats
  • Provide information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
  • Handle denied boarding situations, solicit volunteers, accommodate customers, and provide hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate
  • Ensure FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed and enforce safety and security measures
  • Assist customers with special needs including boarding assistance
  • Load and unload baggage on and off aircraft
  • Marshal planes and push back the aircraft
  • Work effectively in extreme outdoor conditions
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Station Leader
