Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state being applied to or nearby commutable state
- One month of related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Basic math skills
- Customer service knowledge
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds
- Availability for afternoon and evening shifts
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Understanding of applicable rates and time-based calculations
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use appropriate salutations and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper phone etiquette as per company standards
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage, including delivery and pick up
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi services, reservations and answer inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and main attractions
- Deliver messages, items, or guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for parking when needed
