- Subject-matter expertise in a field consistent with the subject taught

Job Duties
- Implements course curriculum and assists with its development
- works with teaching assistant to create lesson plans in accordance with course curriculum
- requests supplies from Site Supervisor well in advance of class sessions
- leads classes with school-age children
- supervises children during transitions
- supervises teaching assistants
- communicates regularly with Site Supervisor and/or Director about student progress
- plans, coordinates, and oversees culminating events at the end of each cycle
