Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 or more years of relevant experience or higher-level degree in lieu of experience
- familiarity with technical schematics and manuals
- understanding of hardware, soldering, and technical data
- knowledge in electronics, refrigeration, hydraulics and engine operation
- ability to service and maintain motor and engine-driven equipment
- U.S. citizenship
- active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- exposure to technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- basic understanding of hardware and soldering techniques
- knowledge of electronics, refrigeration, hydraulics, power generation, engines, pneumatics, and heating
- skills in servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance
- formal technical training preferred
- FAA repair station or quality assurance experience preferred
- background in aerospace, defense, or military preferred
Job Duties
- Inspect aerospace ground service equipment
- perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- test and operate equipment to determine serviceability
- diagnose mechanical and electronic malfunctions
- remove, repair, clean, treat for corrosion, assemble and reinstall components
- provide dispatch services for equipment positioning and support
- prepare equipment for storage and deployment
