Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
- ability to understand technical schematics and publications
- knowledge of hardware and soldering techniques
- experience with mechanical and electronic system maintenance
- ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on support equipment
- ability to provide dispatch services and equipment positioning
- willingness to adhere to security and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- ability to read and understand technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
- basic knowledge of electronics, refrigeration, hydraulics, power generation, reciprocating and gas turbine engines, pneumatics, and heating systems
- skills in servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing motor and engine-driven generator sets, air conditioners, hydraulic test stands, air compressors, bomb lifts, and heaters
- formal technical training preferred
- FAA repair station and quality assurance experience preferred
- background in aerospace and defense industry or U.S. military preferred
Job Duties
- Inspect aerospace ground service vehicles and equipment
- perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE
- test and operate AGE to determine serviceability
- diagnose mechanical and electronic malfunctions
- remove, disassemble, repair, clean, and reassemble AGE components
- provide dispatch services and position equipment for aircraft maintenance and flying operations
- prepare AGE for storage and deployment
