Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
  • ability to understand technical schematics and publications
  • knowledge of hardware and soldering techniques
  • experience with mechanical and electronic system maintenance
  • ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on support equipment
  • ability to provide dispatch services and equipment positioning
  • willingness to adhere to security and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • ability to read and understand technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
  • basic knowledge of electronics, refrigeration, hydraulics, power generation, reciprocating and gas turbine engines, pneumatics, and heating systems
  • skills in servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing motor and engine-driven generator sets, air conditioners, hydraulic test stands, air compressors, bomb lifts, and heaters
  • formal technical training preferred
  • FAA repair station and quality assurance experience preferred
  • background in aerospace and defense industry or U.S. military preferred

Job Duties

  • Inspect aerospace ground service vehicles and equipment
  • perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE
  • test and operate AGE to determine serviceability
  • diagnose mechanical and electronic malfunctions
  • remove, disassemble, repair, clean, and reassemble AGE components
  • provide dispatch services and position equipment for aircraft maintenance and flying operations
  • prepare AGE for storage and deployment
