Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, communications, business, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or advancement in an educational or nonprofit setting
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or advancement in an educational or nonprofit setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in database management and data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of constituents
  • Positive, flexible, and service-oriented approach to work

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Advancement and Parent Association events including fundraising events, donor recognition activities, alumni gatherings, and special programs
  • Manage event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, timelines, guest lists, and event communication
  • Collaborate with advancement colleagues, faculty, staff, and volunteers to support event planning and execution
  • Assist with event communications, invitations, tracking responses, and post-event follow-up
  • Support event evaluation by tracking attendance, costs, participation, and outcomes
  • Provide on-site support for events including occasional evening or weekend commitments
  • Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of advancement data including donor contributions, event participation, and engagement metrics
  • Prepare reports, lists, and dashboards to support fundraising efforts, publications, mailings, and communications
  • Maintain accurate donor and constituent records in the advancement database ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Assist with donor lists for publications, acknowledgements, and global communications as requested
  • Support the Advancement team with data analysis and reporting to inform planning and decision-making
  • Perform other duties as assigned
