Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum five years of progressive administrative experience
- Experience in nonprofit development with basic fundraising knowledge preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and database management
- Experience with CRM systems such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and RE NXT
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Creativity and analytical ability for program improvement
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Collaborative team player
- Valid Michigan driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Pull donor data from RE NXT to create fundraising reports, graphs, and other donor-related documents
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and donor correspondence
- Coordinate the administration of meetings and communications related to board-level Advancement/Development Committee meetings including scheduling, note taking and dissemination
- Make logistical, technical, and catering arrangements for onsite and offsite meetings
- Support the creation and distribution of fundraising appeals and donor stewardship communications
- Review and suggest updates to Advancement/Development webpages and online giving forms
- Manage social media accounts for the Advancement team and/or specific Program Areas as requested
- Manage donor and fundraising communications ensuring consistent messaging
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising and stewardship events
- Manage event communications including event websites and giving forms
- Coordinate invitation lists, track RSVPs, and manage event-related donor interactions in RE NXT
- Oversee logistics such as catering, security, and vendor arrangements in partnership with Events staff
- Support onsite registration and guest services during events including occasional evenings and weekends
- Train and manage volunteers for Advancement events as needed
- Assist production of donor acknowledgment letters and track acknowledgment metrics
- Serve as primary liaison between CEC Program Areas and Gift Processing
- Review and sort incoming gifts ensuring accurate documentation and fund coding
- Assist Gift Processing and Accounting with reconciliation and deposit accuracy
- Attend regular Advancement and Program Area meetings
- Implement special projects supporting donor relations and stewardship
