Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of previous line cooking experience
  • culinary degree or equivalent preferred
  • good communication skills
  • ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking techniques
  • willingness to work multiple kitchen stations
  • ability to work under moderate supervision
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • flexible availability to work varied shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills

  • experience in garde manger, cold kitchen or pantry preferred
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • able to work multiple kitchen stations
  • moderate supervision and training required

Job Duties

  • Prepare soups, sauces, and stocks
  • perform frying and broiling techniques
  • work multiple stations in the kitchen
  • provide direction in supervisor's absence
  • maintain quality and consistency in food preparation
  • collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient service
  • follow food safety and sanitation standards
