Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a fine dining, resort, or high-volume kitchen
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and efficiency, following recipes and plating standards
  • Assist with station setup, mise en place, and ingredient preparation before and during service
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation according to resort standards
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients, monitoring freshness and minimizing waste
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Support Sous Chefs and fellow cooks by executing menu items and special event dishes
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring efficiency during service
  • Other duties as assigned
