Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be 18 years or older
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and common maintenance tools
- adherence to safety practices
- knowledge of handling hazardous materials
- ability to problem solve and adapt to work priorities
- reliability and flexibility
- ability to work under supervision
- willingness to work flexible hours
- physical ability to perform lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing and fine motor tasks
Job Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- job related experience is desired
- skilled in operating industrial maintenance equipment and common tools
- knowledgeable about safety practices and hazardous materials handling
- familiar with methods of industrial cleaning and related regulations
- ability to adapt to changing work priorities and meet deadlines
- effective team player with decision making and mechanical aptitude
- reliable and flexible
- able to problem solve and work with diverse individuals
- capable of scheduling activities and using job-related equipment
Job Duties
- Cleans assigned facilities and grounds for proper functioning and usability
- performs minor maintenance on custodial equipment, furniture, and fixtures
- performs summer maintenance including strip/wax floors, moving furniture, and painting
- replenishes classroom and restroom supplies
- responds to immediate safety or operational concerns
- responds to inquiries from staff, students, parents, and visitors
- supports site maintenance staff
- attends meetings and training sessions
- performs other related duties as assigned
