  • Experience in medical admitting department preferred
  • Familiar with computerized registration systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Promotes a positive image of Watson Clinic Surgical Center through patient and visitor interactions
  • Verifies patient information and prepares admitting paperwork
  • Initiates patient charts and labels them for daily surgical cases
  • Collects payments and obtains signed consent forms
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace
  • Communicates effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Assists with clerical duties and mail distribution
  • Trains new and current admissions staff
  • Keeps patient waiting area tidy and replenishes refreshments
  • Prepares patient information for the next day
