Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or Associate's degree plus 4 years related work experience
  • Two years verifiable work experience in college student services, instructional services, or educational marketing
  • Experience and proficiency with data management software like Recruit
  • Ability to work varied days, hours, shifts, and locations as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and on the phone
  • Ability to use basic computer skills
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the college's insurance carrier
  • Ability to perform physical duties including extended desk work, conducting tours for up to 1.5 hours in various outdoor conditions, lifting up to 30 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, stooping, and driving college-owned vehicles up to 100 miles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and follow college policies
  • Ability to extend friendly assistance under demand fluctuations
  • Must pass criminal history background check prior to final offer

Job Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to develop innovative recruitment and outreach programs

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct department-wide recruitment events
  • Coordinate event logistics and staffing
  • Serve as liaison between Admissions and other departments
  • Perform follow-up and evaluations of events
  • Maintain and manage campus visit calendar and daily tour logistics
  • Schedule and communicate visit details to guests and staff
  • Lead recruitment and oversight of student ambassador team
  • Assist prospective students in admissions and enrollment processes
  • Deliver individual and group presentations and campus tours
  • Enter, maintain, and analyze admissions data
  • Identify enrollment barriers and support recruitment strategies
  • Promote an inclusive culture of belonging across campus
  • Assist with college marketing and public relations activities
  • Develop cooperative relationships with college units and external agencies
  • Participate in relevant local, state, and regional associations
  • Provide admissions information to faculty and staff
  • Travel to all campus locations as needed
  • Perform other assigned college functions and duties
