Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Ability to work flexible schedule including late night and weekend hours
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform moderate physical work

- A minimum of two years of related experience, an equivalent combination of education and experience, or five years of work experience in a directly related capacity
- Knowledge of the event planning process and available resources
- Understanding University policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Assists with planning and executing all admissions events
- Participates in planning meetings and special assignments
- Handles multiple projects simultaneously managing tasks in an environment with changing dynamics (time, location, number of guests, etc.)
- Be “day of” event contact as needed
- Assists with creation of event improvements and new ideas
- Event publications: creating event schedules and event promotion materials
- Event signage: responsible for keeping inventory of event signs, creating and ordering new signs as needed, evaluating signage at events to see what can facilitate visitors
- Administrative duties including invoicing, billing, ordering supplies, executing vendor contracts and creating event setup diagrams
- Ordering event gift items
- ensure enough gifts to cover events and the best products available
- Effectively communicates and interacts with individuals in multiple University offices to plan and coordinate events
- Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with faculty, staff, administrators, student workers, co-workers and managers
- Assist in planning and executing graduate admissions events and interview days, working in collaboration with program directors and faculty to support graduate recruitment experiences
- Other duties as assigned
