Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience in long term care facilities or programs
- Basic computer skills
- Current California LVN licensure maintained active
- Current CPR certification maintained active
- Eligible driver with valid State Driver's License and acceptable driving record if required to drive
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to pass physical and TB test
- Ability to work over 40 hours per week with approval
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure multi-task environment
- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in computer software
- Knowledge of nursing care principles
- Some understanding of reimbursement and public assistance programs
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in long term care facilities or programs
- Basic computer skills
- Current California LVN licensure maintained active and in good standing
- Current CPR certification maintained active
- Thorough documentation skills including grammar and organization
- Eligible driver with current State Driver's License and acceptable driving record if driving company vehicle
- Proficient in English communication with residents, staff, families, and vendors
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, physical and TB test
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective, neutral, and professional communication with all staff levels
- Ability to function in a multi-task environment as a team member
- Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and high-pressure situations
- Proficient in computer use and associated software
- General knowledge of nursing care principles and human relations
- Some knowledge of reimbursement and public assistance programs
Job Duties
- Work with admissions team to facilitate resident admission
- Prepare admission information for distribution to staff
- Coordinate resident placement with facility staff
- Conduct facility tours and discuss admissions with families and case managers
- Ensure completion of admissions packet and timely documentation
- Provide required admission documents to residents and representatives
- Document pertinent admission information
- Prepare and distribute admission and census reports
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Offer front desk assistance including answering phones and greeting visitors
- Resolve client concerns or refer to appropriate parties
- Promote positive client relations and assist in family education about services
- Participate in community relations and marketing events
