Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Some college or technical schooling preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology essential
- Experience in customer service or marketing required
- Prior medical setting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and HMO regulations preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Coordinate admissions to skilled nursing
- Obtain insurance authorizations including Medicare eligibility
- Notify appropriate departments of pending admissions
- Prepare admission packets and enter information into computer systems
- Request needed documents from residents or representatives
- Complete admission contracts and distribute required information to departments
- Collect and log valuables as requested
- Ensure advance directives are requested and explained to residents
- Provide documentation on advance directives
- Coordinate admission process for assisted living and process documents timely
- Gather preadmission documentation and distribute to potential residents
- Input admissions into computer system upon client move-in
- Market skilled nursing facility to prospective residents and representatives
- Give tours and provide information for informed decisions
- Encourage tours, lunches, and wait listing
- Assist Director of Admissions with marketing events
