Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • previous experience in the admissions process
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the admissions process required
  • ability to work effectively with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, referral sources, residents, families, and staff
  • strong customer service and public relations skills
  • demonstrated ability to present and speak publicly
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand English

Job Duties

  • Maintain resident census in alignment with facility goals
  • coordinate the admissions process and assist families with administrative questions
  • conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families
  • complete admission paperwork and verify insurance coverage
  • coordinate with hospital discharge planners and case managers
  • utilize nursing or clinical knowledge, when applicable, to assist with assessments that support appropriate admissions
  • act as a liaison between the facility and community referral sources
  • conduct market research and provide routine marketing recommendations to the Admissions Committee
  • coordinate marketing efforts across the Admissions Committee and facility staff
  • evaluate resident and family satisfaction with the admissions process
  • represent the facility at community and civic organization events and functions
  • stay informed on market trends and direct Admissions Committee participation in community outreach
