Job Qualifications
- Education or previous experience in healthcare
- knowledge of and sensitivity to the needs of the aging
- strong communication skills with potential residents and families
- ability to project a confident and professional image
- knowledge of reimbursement programs including Medicare and Medicaid
- understanding of managed care referral processes
- good listening and empathy skills
- proficiency in oral and written communication
- ability to form professional working relationships with varied staff levels
- self-motivated and goal-oriented
- strong computer skills
Job Duties
- Meet community census goals including Medicare and private pay
- respond to inquiry calls and schedule quality appointments including presentations, tours, and closings
- maintain model rooms for tours based on bed availability
- ensure timely and proper follow-up with inquiries within a 2-hour turnaround
- follow up through telephone contact, correspondence, and on-site appointments with family members
- report inquiries, admissions, discharges, and marketing sales calls accurately and daily in the management system
- communicate closely with Director of Marketing and Admissions and Clinical Liaison regarding assessments and approvals
