Job Requirements

  • Education or previous experience in healthcare
  • knowledge of aging population needs
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents and families

  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call
  • punctual and reliable attendance
  • ability to follow admission paperwork and compliance procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Education or previous experience in healthcare
  • knowledge of and sensitivity to the needs of the aging
  • strong communication skills with potential residents and families
  • ability to project a confident and professional image
  • knowledge of reimbursement programs including Medicare and Medicaid
  • understanding of managed care referral processes
  • good listening and empathy skills
  • proficiency in oral and written communication
  • ability to form professional working relationships with varied staff levels
  • self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • strong computer skills

Job Duties

  • Meet community census goals including Medicare and private pay
  • respond to inquiry calls and schedule quality appointments including presentations, tours, and closings
  • maintain model rooms for tours based on bed availability
  • ensure timely and proper follow-up with inquiries within a 2-hour turnaround
  • follow up through telephone contact, correspondence, and on-site appointments with family members
  • report inquiries, admissions, discharges, and marketing sales calls accurately and daily in the management system
  • communicate closely with Director of Marketing and Admissions and Clinical Liaison regarding assessments and approvals
