Job Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 1-3 years experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant
  • high school diploma required, higher education preferred
  • ability to handle phone calls, emails, and mail efficiently
  • ability to manage receptionist area
  • proficiency in office software and equipment
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • capability to maintain records and track office supplies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, higher education preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a professional office environment
  • active Secret security clearance
  • proficiency in office software and equipment
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • experience managing calendars and scheduling meetings
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • experience providing general office support including data entry and filing
  • ability to maintain accurate records and track office supplies inventory

Job Duties

  • Receive incoming visitors and telephone calls
  • greet and assist visitors professionally
  • issue visitor badges
  • handle clerical support services such as arranging local transportation and visitor parking reservations
  • distribute parking vouchers and Metro cards
  • accept and arrange distribution of incoming mail and courier packages
  • coordinate visitor access with building security
  • maintain visitors log
  • receive and log facilities requests
  • respond to staff submissions for facilities issues
  • generate and monitor work order tickets
  • coordinate conference room scheduling and meeting arrangements
  • respond to or direct incoming calls and inquiries
  • maintain reception area appearance
  • perform other administrative support duties as required
