Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Clear state maltreatment and background checks
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in written form
  • Dependable, intrinsically motivated, goal oriented, strong people skills, extremely organized, team player, technology oriented
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to develop and maintain a variety of records and files
  • Ability to work with limited supervision performing multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Provide receptionist duties including answering phones, taking messages, and maintaining office machines
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing letters and memos and assisting faculty and students
  • Maintain a variety of data, files, and records
  • Assist with content for PR/Marketing related to student and faculty activities
  • Track current and former students including graduates, transfers, and stop-outs
  • Maintain instructional supplies
  • Assist with customer service issues in classrooms and other areas
  • Manage computer lab reservation calendar
  • Coordinate work-study student schedules
  • Assist with student tours
  • Support mail distribution for faculty and staff
  • Assist with student admission and registration
  • Assist with assessment and accreditation initiatives
  • Help with Advisory Committee events
  • Monitor degree plans and college catalog entries
  • Assist with program-specific documentation and proctoring
  • Perform purchasing duties including vendor setup, requisitions, and invoicing
  • Document and maintain clinical requirements for Allied Health programs
  • Maintain a neat and clean work environment and professional appearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
