Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months receptionist or office clerical experience desired
- Familiarity with bookkeeping or accounting preferred
- Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience operating multiple office equipment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate preferred
- Twelve months work experience as a receptionist or in office clerical/administration desired
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meters, fax machines
- Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and Word desired
- Compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and public relations to all customers
- Answer and transfer incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Serve as an information resource
- Enter ancillary resident charges into the electronic resident billing system
- Run monthly statements and mail statements to residents
- Receive payments, apply cash in the billing system and prepare bank deposits
- Perform various administrative duties as assigned
