Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of three years supervisory experience
- Experience with Workday or similar software preferred
- Knowledge of international employment processes preferred
- Ability to work in-person during day shift
- Must have legal authority to work in the United States from first day of employment
- Successful completion of background and sex offender registry checks
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major in public administration, business administration, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Experience using Workday or similar administrative software
- Familiarity with international employment processes
- Experience in event planning
- Knowledge of higher education academic and social program administration
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to evaluate information and formulate recommendations
- Ability to compile information into reports
Job Duties
- Serve as a general office manager for the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department
- Supervise the Registration and Records Assistant
- Manage administrative and HR processes including hiring, creating positions, and processing terminations
- Run reports and gather program data for departmental and professional reporting
- Assist with preparation of Promotion and Tenure documents and faculty evaluations
- Take minutes at faculty meetings and support ABET accreditation efforts
- Plan events and support the VISA process for international students and faculty
