Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration or related field
- Minimum three years supervisory experience
- Authorization to work legally in the United States
- Ability to maintain regular in-person attendance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficient in report preparation
- Experience with administrative and HR processes
- Willingness to comply with criminal background and sex offender registry checks
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration or related field
- At least three years of supervisory experience
- Experience using Workday or similar software systems preferred
- Familiarity with international employment processes preferred
- Experience in event planning preferred
- Knowledge of higher education academic and social program administration
- Knowledge of campus and community resources
- Understanding of state, federal and campus regulations related to academic and social programs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to evaluate data and formulate recommendations
- Ability to compile reports
Job Duties
- Serve as general office manager for EECS department
- Supervise Registration and Records Assistant
- Manage administrative and HR processes including creating positions, hiring and processing employment changes
- Run and prepare departmental and organizational reports
- Assist with faculty promotion and tenure documentation and evaluations
- Take minutes at faculty meetings
- Support ABET accreditation and event planning
- Facilitate VISA processes for international students and faculty
- Assist with Arkansas Meter School and other assigned duties
