Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum six months clerical experience
  • Minimum twelve months customer service experience
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task
  • Must be responsible and reliable in fast-paced professional environment
  • Must be able to remain calm and focused during emergent situations
  • Must commit to working at least six months
  • Must have full availability including weekends, holidays, and after-hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months general clerical experience
  • Twelve months forward-facing customer service experience
  • Veterinary or human medical experience preferred
  • Experience in veterinary clinic reception or clinical floor
  • Background in large or small animal husbandry preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Flexibility to work across multiple departments

Job Duties

  • Enter and verify client and patient demographic information into electronic software
  • Client check in and check out for services
  • Quickly assess client walk-ins to determine urgency and needs
  • Answer phones and connect calls to Urgent Care, Emergency or Consult lines
  • Utilize communication tools such as push-to-talk phones, TEAMS application, and email to coordinate with team members
  • Accept payments for deposits and dismissals
  • Collaborate with extended teams to understand and explain invoices
  • Perform daily administrative tasks as assigned
