Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience preferably in home health or healthcare
- Graduation from a one or two year business college preferred
- At least eighteen years of age
- Able to type 50 words per minute
- Word processing skills
- Personal computer skills
- Business machine knowledge
- Medical terminology knowledge

Job Duties
- Provides assistance to the Executive Director/Administrator, preserving confidentiality
- Maintains files, supplies, postage and general office condition
- Handles all correspondence and word processing
- Maintains minutes of meetings
- Answers telephone inquiries and channels them appropriately
- Files clinical notes after recording on the weekly ledger
- Sends physician's orders for signature and tracks receipt
- Closes patient clinical records upon discharge
- Maintains current patient statistics using Management Information System
- Maintains ledger cards for new patients
- Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director/Administrator
