Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some business course work at the college or technical level preferred
- One to two years previous experience in an administrative support role or a combination of experience and Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Job Duties
- Draft and compose correspondence for review and approval
- Compose correspondence on well-defined subjects as requested
- Assemble and compile data as directed
- Assemble and compile standardized data from established sources
- Maintain departmental record-keeping and filing systems including payroll, work and purchase orders
- Ensure records are updated accurately in a timely fashion
- Act as receptionist for department
- Greet and receive visitors pleasantly and professionally
- Maintain department calendar, schedule meetings and appointments
- Make routine travel or conference arrangements
- Open, sort, screen, record and distribute mail timely
- Monitor and order office supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Perform other related general office duties as requested
