Job Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate's degree
  • two years of related experience
  • an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • ability to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite such as Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • proficient in data management including data entry, validation, cleaning, and manipulation within Excel
  • ability to develop proficiency in job related technology and software platforms
  • ability to use standard office equipment including copier, scanner, telephone, and fax
  • familiarity with shipping and mailing services such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS
  • highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to create and maintain an accurate filing system and work with purchasing, record-keeping, and budgeting
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • ability to present a professional appearance and maintain composure in stressful environments
  • ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information such as HIPAA or FERPA
  • flexibility of workstation and schedule
  • ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Perform accurate data entry, verification, and exportation using various platforms in support of the college's assessment plans
  • assist with ensuring compliance with academic policies within the college
  • provide support in ensuring a positive and cohesive student experience related to academic affairs items such as managing content in enrollment and learning management systems
  • serve as a positive, student-facing representative of the Office of Academic Affairs and Assessment
  • provide support to the Executive Assistant to the Dean in required activities or functions related to the college
  • demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks related to data
  • compile, process, and manage data and documents
  • maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
  • receptionist duties for walk-ins, email, and phone calls
  • communicate with internal and external constituents
  • serve on committees as appointed, create meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute minutes
  • work with others to ensure coordination of day-to-day activities of the College including cross-training and coverage of other areas
  • maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA and other applicable laws
  • serve as an exam proctor as workload allows
  • distribute correspondence and mail
  • support events and activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
