Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum one year of experience in a healthcare or related office setting
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to exercise good judgment and follow procedures
- proficiency in handling multiple tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of experience in healthcare setting preferably in Medical Records or Billing Office
- good judgment to plan perform and set up sequences within standard procedures
- ability to analyze facts and information to take action following established guidelines
- customer service experience preferred
- proficiency in office software and communication skills
Job Duties
- Serve as secretary to the Administrator of Carillon House
- screen persons requesting to see the Administrator and schedule appointments as necessary
- answer routine mail mail pick up mail distribute mail and return telephone calls
- answer and transfer all incoming calls courteously and professionally
- accept and record payments reservations appointments cancellations and the like as directed
- open and close the reception desk and properly secure all files keys and equipment in the office area
- order office supplies paper supplies copy machine supplies printed forms Carillon letterhead and envelopes
- maintain and manage copy machine submit service orders as needed
- perform filing in business files prepare new business files as needed
- receive and assist all persons entering the community to present the best possible image of the community
- communicate promptly and clearly all messages and material to appropriate parties
- ensure residents are in the lobby at proper time for transportation
- assist department heads with typing and mailings as time permits
- keep survey and administration policy binder updated for Director of Nursing and Administrator
- maintain and update contract binders with new contracts and remove expired documents
- request and hold current Certificate of Insurance from contractors
- assist with Resident Satisfaction Survey
- update Carillon House Resident Handbook as needed
