Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year healthcare setting experience preferably in medical records or billing office
- Good judgment and ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to analyze facts and take appropriate actions
- Willingness to work full-time
- Reliable and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferably medical records or billing office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment and manage tasks following established guidelines
- Proficiency in office equipment and basic administrative software
- Customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as secretary to the community Administrator
- Screen and schedule appointments for the Administrator
- Answer and distribute mail and telephone calls
- Accept and record payments, reservations, and cancellations
- Open and close reception desk and secure all files and equipment
- Order and manage office supplies and equipment
- File business documents and maintain contract binders
- Greet and assist residents, visitors, staff, and vendors
- Communicate messages promptly to appropriate parties
- Ensure residents are timely for transportation
- Assist department heads with typing and mailings
- Maintain policy and survey binders
- Request and hold current Certificates of Insurance
- Assist with Resident Satisfaction Surveys
- Update Resident Handbook as needed
