- Have at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical records or billing office
- Possess good judgment to plan, perform, and set up sequences within standard procedures
- Able to analyze facts and information to take action following established guidelines

Job Duties
- Serve as secretary to the Administrator of Carillon House
- Screen persons requesting to see the Administrator and schedule appointments as necessary
- Answer and transfer all incoming calls courteously and professionally
- Accept and record payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations as directed
- Open and close the reception desk, securely managing files, keys, and office equipment
- Order and maintain all office, paper, and copy machine supplies
- Perform filing in business files and prepare new business files as needed
- Receive and assist residents, visitors, staff, and vendors to present the best community image
- Communicate messages and materials promptly to appropriate parties
- Ensure residents are ready in the lobby for transportation
- Assist department heads with typing and mailings as time permits
- Maintain and update policy binders and contract binders
- Request and hold current Certificates of Insurance from contractors
- Assist with Resident Satisfaction Surveys
- Update Carillon House Resident Handbook as needed
