Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in social work or related field
- Minimum six months related experience in a medical or mental health setting preferred
- Required sales experience
- Pleasant and professional service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to make routine operational decisions following policies
- Knowledgeable about healthcare practices and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy
- Availability to work part-time and travel between two office locations
Job Qualifications
- BA/BS in social work or related field
- Six months of related experience in a medical setting preferred
- Psychiatric/mental health experience is a plus
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Sales experience required
- Pleasant, congenial, well-mannered, professional service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel, Google Docs, and Gmail
- Strong analytical thinking
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to make routine decisions within policy and procedures
- Knowledge of healthcare practices

Job Duties
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefit coverage
- Review scheduled intakes and follow-up appointments on clinicians' calendars using smart scheduling
- Review completed packets for compliance, including documentation and consent prior to scheduled visits
- Answer inquiries and explain services offered
- Log inquiries on referral tracker including contact and insurance information
- Contact patients or guarantors to advise on financial responsibilities including out-of-network insurance options
- Manage and update patient general information and medical insurance changes in the patient platform
- Coordinate and enter requests for patient records and other documents
- Manage pharmacy and insurance medication prior authorizations and refills
- Manage email and mail traffic and distribute accordingly
- Upload various documents
- Manage multi-line phone system
- Perform varied administrative and front desk duties for a medical office
- Explain and promote different mental health services and produce high-conversion
- Provide customer service and sales support
- Perform other related work
