Job Requirements
- Three years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned
- Appropriate education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with some weekends and evenings as required
- Ability to work primarily on-site at the CU Book Store main location with some hybrid work possible
- Ability to prioritize tasks and use sound judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Three years of experience in a related occupational field
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer, typing, and database skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a strength in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Experience in higher education or collegiate institutional environments preferred
Job Duties
- Manages calendar for Director and leadership team when needed
- Schedules meetings and manages logistics for workshops and special events
- Drafts, formats, and distributes correspondence and documentation
- Creates surveys, compiles responses, reports data, and performs research
- Initiates, tracks, and processes purchases and expense reports
- Acts as liaison with university departments and participates in meetings and training
- Assists on the sales floor during peak periods and attends assigned events and activities
