Job Duties
- Provide administrative support for unit operations
- act as office liaison and receptionist
- receive and route phone calls, emails, and guests
- maintain files and enter data
- draft and send communications on behalf of supervisor and departmental staff
- reconcile P-Card and Concur transactions against departmental budget
- perform budget monitoring and entry
- operate standard office equipment including personal computers, copiers, and fax machines
- organize departmental events such as faculty and Board of Advisors meetings
- coordinate visits for seminar speakers and prospective faculty
- assist with the undergraduate program including planning student events and coordinating meetings for prospective students
- assist with the ABET accreditation process
- serve as backup to Purchasing Assistant and Student Services Assistant','qualifications':'High school diploma or GED with two years of administrative experience or associate degree or higher
- proficiency in personal computers and application software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel
- excellent organizational and public relations skills
- punctual and reliable
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- customer friendly service orientation
- efficient and accurate computer and data entry skills
- ability to work collaboratively in dynamic settings
- ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports

- experience with university systems such as Concur, Banner, BuyBAMA
