Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years office experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers in person and by telephone
- Understanding of basic medical terminology
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Perform all front desk receptionist duties to ensure efficient workflow
- Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to safety, infection control, OSHA, and emergency preparedness protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Explain procedures, treatments, and care while remaining sensitive to language barriers
- Maintain professional appearance and display Emergency Center identification badge at all times
- Attend required meetings and participate in in-service education
- Demonstrate flexibility in staffing patterns and assignments
- Use basic computer skills to manage administrative tasks
