Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent diploma/GED
- Have a minimum of two years of experience in a professional office environment as an office or executive assistant, receptionist, student assistant, or related field
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must obtain a Florida driver’s license upon employment
- Must maintain a clean driving record to operate a county vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform tasks requiring seeing, hearing, sitting, and ambulating independently
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent diploma/GED
- Minimum of two years of experience in a professional office environment as an office or executive assistant, receptionist, student assistant, or related field
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong recordkeeping and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system to the appropriate staff member or department
- Answer basic, non-technical inquiries from the public and other divisions
- Provide administrative support to divisional operations where needed
- Process in-county and out-of-county travel requests and reimbursement vouchers
- Transport packages and documents between the main office, county administration building, and other locations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Fiscal Manager and Division Director
