Job Duties
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with VDOT staff, elected officials, CTB members, citizens, and external participants
- Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and track action items
- Compose letters and official correspondence within and outside VDOT
- Organize functions and special events, including arrangements for lodging, meals, and equipment
- Manage registrations for conferences and seminars
- Receive information, compile and prepare specific responses and reports
- Provide diverse administrative and technical support to managers, work groups, sections, districts, or divisions
- Handle phone calls, contacts, and communications from internal staff and external stakeholders
- Transcribe, edit, and format data and materials related to special projects
- Maintain files, records, and systems including updating documents and manuals
- Make purchases per procurement guidelines and manage payment processes
- Track travel requisitions and make independent travel and hotel arrangements
- Assist with scheduling and setup for training sessions
