Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years administrative office experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • associate of arts degree in business or related field preferred
  • significant direct work experience considered
  • minimum two years administrative office experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • knowledge of medical office insurance billing preferred
  • excellent organizational skills
  • strong customer service skills
  • effective oral and written communication

Job Duties

  • assist with payroll and billing
  • manage accounts payable
  • perform record keeping and data entry
  • prepare reports
  • handle copying and filing
  • adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures
  • maintain integrity and confidentiality of financial data
  • participate in mandatory HIPAA privacy and compliance programs
  • coordinate and attend training and meetings
  • provide clerical support for organizational tasks
  • effectively problem solve issues
  • maintain compliance with regulatory file management
  • prepare internal and external communications
  • manage office supplies
  • complete other assigned duties
