Job Requirements

- Experience in event coordination or communications
- Proficiency with computer software and online platforms
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Job Duties
- Coordinate and support Terrace Hill and rental events by preparing, confirming, and tracking action plans for each event
- Coordinate and execute all publicity and media for Terrace Hill events, including creating press releases, posting on public calendars, placing and confirming all paid advertising, and scheduling TV and radio interviews
- Carry Terrace Hill’s branding guidelines forward in all photography, video, and graphic design needed for event publicity and social media
- Maintain the Terrace Hill website and social media pages, elevating Terrace Hill’s online presence and ensuring accurate and engaging information for all
- Develop and distribute Terrace Hill’s monthly email newsletter, consistently delivering polished and engaging content
- Answer the central phone line, always representing Terrace Hill and the state of Iowa in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist the Public Service Manager 1 with program responsibilities, including monitoring purchases of supplies/equipment, preparing all invoices and Pcards for payments, documenting all item expense codes, maintaining and filing electronic receipts, and submitting reimbursement requests
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve Terrace Hill’s operations by conducting research and proposing strategic actions
- Maintain meticulous records to support goal achievement and operational excellence
