Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and self-motivated
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and efficiently manage multiple tasks
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • 1+ years of job-related professional experience preferred

  • Experience in event and meeting planning and/or administrative support preferred

Job Duties

  • Schedules, plans, and coordinates all institute-level meetings, events, seminars, symposia, and faculty recruitment
  • Manages procurement and logistics for events, including vendor coordination and catering
  • Processes requests for approvals and ensures compliance with university policies
  • Coordinates travel and logistics for meetings and faculty recruitment, including reservations and reimbursements
  • Provides administrative support to directors and staff, including calendar and email management
  • Coordinates council membership, voting processes, and ensures bylaw compliance
  • Assists with student recruitment and education team events
  • Serves as backup for institute communications
