Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of responsible administrative or clerical experience
  • Valid Class C Texas driver's license
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings
  • City of Bellmead employment application required
  • Submission of resume highly encouraged
  • Proof of licenses must be submitted

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of responsible administrative or clerical experience
  • Associates degree or coursework in administrative support preferred
  • Experience in municipal or governmental agency preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Proficiency with standard office software and equipment

Job Duties

  • Provide phone and front desk reception services
  • Schedule and coordinate events at the Civic Center
  • Execute event contracts and process payments
  • Review incoming mail and correspondence
  • Organize, coordinate, and prepare materials for public and staff meetings
  • Assist with setup, running, and teardown of department events
  • Collaborate with internal city departments to coordinate community events
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Manage flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends due to event demands
