Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years progressive hotel operations leadership experience
  • Prior department head experience
  • Experience leading large teams in high-volume environments
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Experience with PMS/POS and related systems
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds occasionally
  • Must work in varied environmental conditions
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Conflict resolution and change management capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in upscale or luxury full-service hotels
  • Prior department head experience required
  • Demonstrated success leading large, diverse teams
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Proven record of improving guest satisfaction and profitability
  • Experience with PMS/POS systems like Infor HMS
  • Proficient in data analysis and dashboard use
  • Inspiring and visible leadership style
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and strong execution abilities
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Strong conflict resolution and change management skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Partner with the Managing Director to translate strategic priorities into operational plans
  • Provide daily leadership to Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, Engineering, Security, and IT departments
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, PHG policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead service culture and operational innovation initiatives
  • Manage guest experience and resolve service issues
  • Develop and coach department heads and managers
  • Oversee budget development, financial performance monitoring, and cost control
  • Maintain operational excellence, safety, and compliance
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and Spa to align operations with commercial strategies
  • Drive innovation through technology and process improvements
