Job Requirements

  • associate's degree in culinary arts
  • current Serv-Safe certification
  • minimum of 5 years full-service restaurant experience
  • minimum of 2 years experience in a chef or supervisory role
  • ability to lead and communicate effectively
  • commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • oversee production of meal service for an onsite culinary restaurant
  • perform classroom culinary instruction
  • ensure proper safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
  • communicate effectively with students, and staff of both the college and culinary program
  • lead and mentor culinary students in practical and theoretical aspects of culinary arts
  • collaborate with college administration to enhance curriculum and program offerings
  • evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
