Job Qualifications
- any bachelor's degree and two years of professional culinary experience
- any associate degree and six years of professional culinary experience
- experience teaching culinary arts courses
- understanding of diverse academic and cultural backgrounds
- advanced baking skills preferred
- knowledge of sanitation and safety
- ability to manage class inventory and budgeting
Job Duties
- teach culinary arts courses at the college level
- develop and implement curriculum for culinary subjects
- manage class inventory and ordering
- maintain basic sanitation and safety standards
- demonstrate cooking and baking techniques
- teach budgeting for culinary classes
- provide instruction on banquet and buffet cooking
